Therapy that meets you where you are
Hi, I'm Lara — an experienced, integrative therapist blending curiosity, compassion and clinical depth to help you make sense of where you've been, where you are and where you want to be.
A practice built on presence
Sometimes, what we need most is someone who will simply show up. To listen. To offer a safe space, without judgment. To be truly present. That’s the foundation of my therapy practice. I support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, parenting pressures, family dynamics, burnout and life transitions. With a grounded, human-first approach, I offer both online therapy and in-person sessions for adults seeking meaningful, long-lasting change.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in a high-pressured workplace, which deepened my understanding of burnout, perfectionism, identity and shame. This background informs my empathetic approach, especially when supporting clients from creative and high-performance environments.

A decade of supporting others so you can feel safe and seen
With over 10 years of experience as a therapist, I’ve supported adults and young adults across a wide range of settings — from low-cost counselling clinics and university wellbeing services to NHS-funded spaces and mental health support in the creative and corporate sectors. Whether you're seeking therapy for anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship challenges or family struggles, we’ll work at your pace — with care, curiosity, and intention.

My practice draws on psychodynamic, somatic, and trauma-informed approaches — meaning we won’t just look at what you think, but how you feel, how your body holds emotion and how past experiences may shape the present.

What shapes our work together
Rather than following a rigid method, I draw from several therapeutic approaches that allow us to work in a way that suits you — your history, your present needs. Here's some of the ways we might explore things together:
Photograph of multiple coloured wollen threads on a sewing machine
Psychodynamic
Exploring how your past informs who you are today.
Relational
The relationship is always at the very heart of the work - with yourself, with me and with others.
Trauma-informed
Attending gently to wounds stored in the body and mind, informed by professional trauma training.
Body-Mind
Developing somatic awareness and compassionate enquiry to how your body and mind communicate.
Creativity
Where helpful, we can use literature, music, photography, film or metaphor to explore what words alone can’t reach.
Together, we create a space where you feel seen, supported and able to meet yourself with more compassion.
